Here is the place (map as below) I went to visit last weekend. It is called Yilan county located on north end of Taiwan. We went to "Luodong Night Market" (see below) and it was a rainy day... but manage to get to the various scenic spots as the time permitted (photo downloaded from http://life.e-land.net.tw/).
